Mrs. Linda Baumann grew up in Wisconsin. She attended Trinity Lutheran School in Waukesha for grades K-8 and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. After graduating from Waukesha South High School, she attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. She graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a subject area empahsis in both math and science. In 2011 Mrs. Baumann earned her Master of Science degree with an emphasis on educational leadership and professional learning from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Upon graduation from DMLC, Mrs. Baumann was assigned to teach third grade at Bethlehem Lutheran School in Hortonville, Wisconsin. She served there for 7 years. She then accepted a call to teach grades 1-2 at Peridot Lutheran School in Peridot, Arizona. That school is located on the San Carlos Apaches reservation. After 4 years there, Mrs. Baumann accepted a call to teach grades 1-2 at St. John's Lutheran School in Lomira, Wisconsin. She served there for 11 years before accepting her current call to Trinity Lutheran School in Jenera, Ohio in 2017. At all the schools and congregations she has served, Mrs. Baumann has also filled the role of school music director and organist. She also serves the WELS at large as a mentor of beginning teachers.
Mrs. Baumann married her husband, David, in 1996. They have been blessed with a son, Ben, who is currently living and working in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the movies and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
