I was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio and attended Findlay City Schools grades K-12. I was confirmed and baptized at Immanuel Lutheran in Findlay, Ohio. After graduating from Findlay High School, I attended Bowling Green State University. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Music Education.
After graduating from BGSU in 2013, I received a job to teach music for grades K-12 at Frontier Local Schools in New Matamoras, Ohio. In 2014, Stephen and I were married and I continued to teach at Frontier until 2018 when I resigned to relocate with his new job position in North Canton, Ohio. I began substitute teaching until our firstborn daughter, Sarah, was born in 2019. I then received and accepted the call to serve as preschool teacher and director at Trinity in February of 2020.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and all of the family and friends from both sides of our family that I was reunited with by moving back home again after 7 years!
