DID YOU KNOW that our church's Women's Ministry is intended to be for all women in the church? It is not really a “group.” Ladies are welcome to come to any of the scheduled events, Bible studies, volunteer opportunities, etc. You don't have to “join the group.”
Come when you can! And invite your friends—both members and nonmembers.

REMINDER
Women's Ministry made plates with our church's logo. There are still plates available for anyone in the congregation who would like to visit a neighbor, friend, new parent, etc., and take a “gift”. Whether that would be a few cookies, some fruit, loaf of bread, chocolates, or whatever fits the occasion, feel free to take a plate to leave with them. The plates are in a basket in the windowsill near the sign-up table. Please pick one up if you have someone you want to visit and possibly invite to church! (Note: the plates should not be immersed in water, only hand wiped.)

WEST OHIO FOOD BANK
~Women's Ministry is volunteering at the West Ohio Food Bank in Lima on Wednesday, February 25 from 1:00-3:00 PM.
~We will be packing/preparing boxes, sorting through foods and checking expiration dates, and much more!

BIBLE STUDY
~During the months of February and March, Women's Ministry will have a Bible study using the book Gay & God by Pastor Mike Novotny.
~Jesus wanted his people to be known for their love. But sadly, love is often the last thing homosexuals find in the church. This book shows you the deep meaning and true significance of Jesus’ words, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” It also teaches you what the Bible actually says on the topic of homosexuality.
~Ladies are asked to read two short chapters before each Bible study, so we can discuss the content together.
~Bible studies are scheduled for Thursday, February 19 and Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 PM in the church basement.
~Sign up if you are interested in attending the Bible study, and pick up a book from the table. Feel free to take a book even if you can't attend the Bible study. Questions? Contact Jenny Boehm.
APRIL
~Save the date for Thursday, April 16!
~A representative from Cancer Patient Services will be coming to speak at our church. Come hear about the work they are doing to support residents of Hancock County who have been diagnosed with cancer.
MAY
~Save the date for Saturday, May 2 for the LWMS (Lutheran Women's Missionary Society) rally at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Maumee.
~Registration and breakfast begins at 9:00. Opening devotion will start at 9:30.
~Pastor Jeffrey Duquaine from Willoughby, OH will be the guest speaker.
~Come enjoy a morning of fellowship and God's Word with your sisters in Christ.
