Mission Statement

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church exists to glorify our Triune God as we train, strengthen and nurture ourselves and others through His Word and Sacraments, so that we are enabled by His love to live lives of faith and to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people.”

The Scriptural basis for our Mission Statement:
Grow spiritually by making Christ the cornerstone of each family through personal Bible study, personal prayer, youth and adult Bible study, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and all Bible study opportunities, as well as taking every occasion to prepare ourselves for service in God’s kingdom.  (2 Peter 3:18)

Encourage each other to attend worship services regularly and to encourage members to participate often in the sacrament of the altar and to have our children baptized. (Hebrews 10:25; 1 Corinthians 11: 25-26; Matthew 28:19-20)

Proclaim the Law and Gospel to our grade school-aged children through our Lutheran elementary school.  Also, use the school as a means of outreach to the community. (Proverbs 22:6)

To foster a sense of urgency for the lost and to seize every opportunity the Lord provides to evangelize to lost souls. (2 Corinthians 6:1-2)

Stand firmly behind the sanctity of life, marriage and the family. (Genesis 1: 27-28; Matthew 19:5-6)

Support our congregation and synod’s ministry with our time, talents, and treasures by means of generous first-fruits giving. (2 Corinthians 8:7-9)

Support our called workers through our prayers, our words of support, as well as our constant attention to their physical needs.(Luke 10:7; Ephesians 6:19)

Provide a strong gospel outreach to all segments of the community including the children, youth, singles, families and seniors, and welcome the unchurched with open doors, open arms and open hearts. (John 4:34-36)

Proclaim and defend the whole message and truth of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Corinthians 13:8)
